Add Anyone to Your Team with Fewer Steps

We updated the Add Employee Wizard, so it takes less time to add someone to your team. That includes full-time employees, temps, and contractors.

  • Fewer required fields when you first add someone
  • Start time and 90-day probation date fill in automatically for you
  • Add contractors as independent or business
  • On built-in payroll plans, add temps without sending them an onboarding invite
  • Filter your Team page by employment type

MAKING PAYROLL EASIER

Payroll Updates: Correction Payroll, Contractor Payments, & Notifications

 A few small changes to how you pay contractors, fix payroll, and notify employees, all built to save you time. 

  • Pay contractors by check or direct deposit
  • Log contractor payments made outside HR for Health so they still show up on their 1099
  • Run same-day correction payrolls by check instead of waiting for the next cycle
  • Catch missing hours before a correction processes, not after
  • Employees will be notified by email the moment their paystub is ready

  • On payroll plans, employees can view and download their own paystubs and W-2s from their phones

Whether you're running multiple locations or a single practice, it can be hard to know exactly where your payroll dollars are going each month.

Labor distribution reporting breaks it down so you can:

  • See payroll costs by location and department in one view
  • Track labor costs across teams like clinical vs. non-clinical or hygienists vs. assistants
  • Spot which areas are driving your biggest expenses
  • Stop digging through individual timesheets to get answers

Already using HR for Health's built-in payroll?
Turn it on in your office profile by going to Settings → Office Profile and switching the labor distribution reporting field to "yes".
For the most detailed view of your costs, make sure you have timesheet projects and/or categories set up
